AGIBOT, in collaboration with its Indonesian partner ASIX – an AI accelerator under the Sinarmas Group recently showcased its most advanced humanoid robot at a cultural event in Jakarta. The robot took on the role of a guest host, demonstrating a surprisingly versatile range of capabilities, from performing calligraphy and dance to interacting seamlessly with attendees.

The response from the audience was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting how naturally advanced robotics can fit into environments like events, hospitality, education, and interactive entertainment.
One of the most memorable moments came when the AGIBOT A2 humanoid robot joined human calligraphers to write the phrase “Tea for Harmony,” blending cultural artistry with embodied AI in a way that felt both meaningful and forward-looking. The demonstration underscored how humanoid robots can move beyond novelty and play a genuine role in enriching shared cultural experiences.
AGIBOT and ASIX also used the occasion to reaffirm their long-term commitment to the Indonesian market. By working closely with local partners, the two aim to develop applications that are not only technologically advanced but also culturally attuned.
While the event spotlighted cultural and entertainment use cases, it also marked a strategic entry point for broader deployment. Both companies are now exploring more productivity-focused applications, including production line handling, logistics and sorting, guided tours, retail assistance, service stations, security patrols, inspections, and commercial cleaning signaling a clear intent to move from showcase to scale.
