Delta Electronics is using Automation Taipei 2026 to mark its 55th anniversary with a clear message: “Forward, Toward Better: AI-Empowered Digitization.” The showcase, running August 19-22 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (Hall 1, 4F, Booth M420, with automation products also in Meeting Room 429), puts robotics and AI-driven smart manufacturing at the centre, headlined by the debut of its Embodied AI Dual-Arm Robot Platform.
The new dual?arm platform ties AI models and robotic control into a single stack so robots can learn tasks, analyse workflows, execute and self?correct using multimodal data. In a live demo, the system takes voice commands to draw portraits in selected styles, illustrating autonomy from task learning through execution.
Delta sees the architecture scaling into more complex, high-precision work such as AI server assembly lines, where flexibility and quick changeovers matter.
Under the hood, Delta’s AI Robotic Control Platform acts as an AI-ready layer that can ingest diverse model inputs and drive modular robots.
Built around the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module for up to 275 TOPS of AI performance, it uses NVIDIA Isaac ROS Nvblox and cuMotion to build real-time 3D environment maps and handle dynamic obstacle avoidance.
The Robotics Solutions area also features:
Collaborative robot pick-and-place cells and humanoid dual-arm demonstrations designed to lift line efficiency and deployment flexibility across different manufacturing scenarios.
On the smart manufacturing side:
Delta is pushing AI deeper into production line digital twins. By combining its DIATwin virtual machine development platform with NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, the system auto-generates optimal motion paths, validates them in high-fidelity simulation and instantly converts them into machine recipes.
That virtual-first verification shortens mass-production prep cycles and has already been deployed in Delta’s Thailand plant for AI server power supply lines.
Defect inspection is another focus
Delta is using the NVIDIA Defect Image Generation skill, powered by NVIDIA Cosmos foundation models alongside NVIDIA TAO fine-tuning and Isaac Sim, to automatically create diverse defect patterns and surface texture data.
The approach has cut AOI model preparation time for new, unknown defects from three months to about two weeks and lifted AOI rates by roughly 17 percent.
For industry solutions, Delta is highlighting:
High-end electronics assembly for AI servers and automotive electronics. Its AI-Enabled Human-Machine Hybrid Line uses AI vision analytics to monitor manual stations in real time, flagging assembly errors and capturing station data to complete line digitization.
A Smart Press Fit module generates press curves from minimal samples using AI and issues real-time warnings via micro?force detection to improve yields.
The Inline Management Solution Line Manager then pulls together manual and equipment data to spot bottlenecks and maximise line capacity.
Beyond the main stage, Delta is showcasing functional safety, smart Wi?Fi 7 and mobile equipment charging for warehousing and logistics.
Its Advanced IIoT Controller AX-5 now supports Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) modules for distributed functional safety control in large facilities such as warehouses, food packaging and woodworking lines.
An AI-powered smart wireless solution uses location-aware intelligence to orchestrate Wi-Fi roaming between access points, helping AGVs, AMRs and OHT systems maintain seamless connectivity while in motion.
For charging, the MOOV Series offers both wireless (MOOVair) and contact-based (MOOVbase) systems from 1 kW to 30 kW with up to 95 percent energy efficiency, already deployed on more than one million industrial vehicles worldwide.
On the power side, Delta is introducing DIN Pro and DIN Eco DIN-rail power supplies with ultra-slim 30 mm widths to save control cabinet space. Both series support operation down to -40°C and comply with SEMI F47 semiconductor equipment standards, targeting high-end equipment and energy infrastructure in extreme or polluted environments.
Panel-mount offerings include the PMS, PMR and IMA series, plus the enclosed IMA-Chameleon line, which delivers up to 95 percent conversion efficiency and IP65 dust and water resistance for demanding process, logistics and outdoor conditions.
